2016 Internet Auction Rules

1.  This auction will begin Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 9:00 PM EST and conclude Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 9:00 PM EST.  If a bid is received at the close of any auction, that specific auction closing will be extended by 15 minutes so that all participants have opportunity to increase their bid.   If extended, each auction will be declared closed 30 minutes after the last qualifying bid have been received.

2.  All auction participants must register in order to submit qualifying bids.  To register, submit an email to:  BTauscher@aol.com with the following information:  name, address, phone number, and email address.  Each registrant will receive an email acknowledgement containing a registered bidder code that must accompany all bids.  All registration information received will remain confidential and will not be sold or distributed to any person or agency.  Registration signifies acceptance of all Internet Auction Rules.

3.  A valid bid on an auction item is a legally binding contract. If you do not qualify or do not plan to honor such contracts, please do not submit a bid.  OhioPennFederation.com reserves the right to disqualify or revoke the registration of anyone at any time at its sole discretion.

4.  This auction will be managed manually, so please be patient.  Bids may be placed by email at any time and will be prioritized by the timestamp contained in the email header.  This website will be updated and email updates will be sent to all registered bidders with every new bid.  Every effort will be made to post new bids promptly, however there will be delays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM most days.  If you do not see your bid posted by the end of the day and you do not receive email verification of your bid, please resubmit your bid.

5.  The minimum bid increment is $25.00.  Bids for increments less than $25.00 will be disqualified.  Reserve bids will be accepted and must be in multiples of 25.  Any reserve bid submitted that is not a multiple of 25 will be reduced to an elligible number. 

6.  Payment must be made by cashiers check, money order, or credit card (Visa and Discover only).  No personal checks will be accepted.  Payment must be received within 7 days of the end of auction.   Failure to make payment within 7 days will void the sale and the pigeon will be offered to the participant who submitted the last qualifying bid with the same requirements.

7.  Shipping will be authorized upon receipt of payment.  Shipping will be by USPS Priority Express Mail in an approved shipping box.  Cost is $55.00 to ship a single bird, $10 more for each addional bird sent to the same address.
